Poster George Hendrik Breitner - The Singel Bridge Amsterdam

This painting was painted by George Hendrik Breitner in the year 1896. Breitner himself usually took photographs in preparation for his art. The way in which the lady walks straight to the painting seems very photographic. It shows a winter scene with figures crossing the Amsterdam Singelbrug, in an impressionistic style.
