A Wheatfield with Cypresses is one of three similar 1889 oil paintings by Vincent van Gogh, as part of his Wheatfields series. The paintings were all exhibited at the Saint-Paul-de-Mausole asylum in Saint-Rémy near Arles, France, where Van Gogh was a voluntary patient from May 1889 to May 1890. The works are inspired by the view from the window of the facility on the Alpilles. We also sell matching frames in different colors. Different format or paper?
