Bridge over Brooklyn Travel Art Print

A print inspired by my recent visit to New York. Walking through the derelict buildings in Dumbo, interspersed with newer gentrified cafes, restaurants and multi million loft apartments, I was struck by this really old brick building with large arched doors and windows under the massive Brooklyn bridge. The St Anne's Warehouse which has opened a theatre for performing arts, used to be a tobacco warehouse back in 1860. I love that the refurbishment has still preserved the original character of the building, highlighting the stark contrast of earthy tones of the warehouse to the modern steel and wire Brooklyn bridge running above it.
