Reproduction of the panot of the FLOWER of Barcelona, set of 4 GRAY coasters made of flexible plastic. (Dimensions: length: 8cm, height: 0.5cm) The Barcelona flower or Barcelona rose is a type of panot designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch. Originally designed for the carriage yard of the Amatller house, it was later used to pave many streets in Barcelona, especially in the Eixample. The original panot is a piece of hydraulic cement, 20 x 20 cm, 4 cm thick and weighing 1.5 kg. Puig i Cadafalch designed it with a design made up of four circles that looked like flower petals, made in bas-relief on stone tiles. The later design that was generalized for the streets of Barcelona is made up of a central circle from which four other truncated circles start, with four axes of symmetry, a center of rotation of order 4, and closed slots of about 85 cm. This panot spread throughout Barcelona, mainly thanks to its economy and durability, and, over time, it became the most characteristic of the city.
