Botanical Dyed Textured Fabric Sampler | Indigo Green and Blue Dyed Textile, Slow Stitch, Embroidery, Quilting, Journaling, Cards, Boro, Patching

Gift set of 5 naturally dyed upcycled fibers for fabric collage, slow sewing and textile arts. These upcycled fabrics were individually hand-dyed in my studio. I love dyeing sustainable and second-hand natural materials with vegetable dyes. This color palette, consisting of green, blue, white, olive, and golden yellow, offers a variety of patterns and textures in an assortment of silks and a vintage cotton thread. These textiles are perfect for experimenting and letting your creativity run wild. They are perfect for embroidery, collage, visible repairs, quilting, slow stitching, fiber arts, junk journals, felting and home decor. SUSTAINABLE MANUFACTURING | Recycled fabric bundles are a great way to incorporate sustainability into your textile craft projects. These fabric bundles are also a great way to build your sustainable materials collection, as upcycled and plant-dyed fabrics have a lower carbon footprint than new materials. FABRIC | This gift set includes 3 pieces of fabric, 1 silk ribbon, and 1 vintage cotton thread. This is the set you will receive, and it will arrive in a 5" x 7" clear biofilm certified compostable cellophane bag. •Jade Green and Blue Marbled Silk Noil Fabric (Weld/Indigo) | 5" x 4.5" • Blue and White Marbled Silk Chiffon Fabric (Indigo) | 5" x 4.5" • Green Pleated Sheer Chiffon Fabric (Weld/Indigo) | 5" x 5.5" • Teal, Olive, and Golden Yellow Ombre Silk Ribbon (Indigo/Pomegranate) | 0.75" x 52" • Green Variegated Cotton Yarn (Weld/Indigo) | 1.8 m. RECLAIMED MATERIALS | These hand-dyed fabrics come from reclaimed clothing and vintage fabrics that I have selected, washed, and then carefully unraveled to ensure I can use almost 100% of the garment. Deconstructing clothing takes time, but there are already so many beautiful fabrics that can be used as a sustainable option for projects. DETAILS | Pieces with unusual shapes have been averaged for their size, and there may be small imperfections and mottled colors. I have done my best to accurately represent the true shades of these fabrics, but each computer monitor will display their colors a little differently. CARE | These materials have been washed/scoured, mordanted (set so the natural dyes adhere to the fibers), hand-dyed, rinsed, and ironed. It is best to wash naturally dyed fabrics by hand with a pH-neutral detergent, line dry, and iron at a low temperature. HAS Store away from direct sunlight. SHIPPING | I will refund any difference in shipping costs over €1.00 and will gladly combine shipping costs for multiple purchases. I ship all my items in recyclable and compostable packaging. Check out my shop's terms and conditions for more information and feel free to contact me if you have any questions; I'll be happy to answer them. SOCIAL MEDIA | Join me on Instagram @fossickstudio.
