Gift set of 5 naturally dyed upcycled fibers for fabric collage, nuno felting, slow stitching and fiber arts. These upcycled fabrics were individually hand-dyed in my studio. I love dyeing sustainable, second-hand natural materials from plants. This color palette, consisting of brown, maroon, deep coral, ivory, orange, pink, and olive, offers a variety of patterns and textures in an assortment of silks and wool embroidery floss. These unique textiles are perfect for experimenting and letting your creativity run wild. They are perfect for collage, embroidery, doll making, visible repairs, quilting, slow stitching, fiber arts, flea markets, nuno felting and home decor projects. This is the set you will receive, and it will arrive in a 14cm x 20cm clear cellophane bag, certified compostable biofilm. •Heather Brown Silk Fabric (Madder/Indigo) | 14cm x 11cm • Rust Semi-Sheer Silk Chiffon Fabric (Madder) | 13cm x 11cm • Dark Coral Red & White Textured Pleated Sheer Silk Fabric (Madder) | 15cm x 13cm • Pink, Orange & Olive Silk Charmeuse Fabric (Madder) | 13cm x 11cm • Burnt Orange Wool Embroidery Floss (Osage Orange/Madder) | 2 meters RECLAIMED MATERIALS | These hand-dyed fabrics come from reclaimed clothing and vintage materials that I have selected, washed, and then carefully taken apart to ensure I can use almost 100% of the garment. Deconstructing clothing takes time, but there are already so many beautiful fabrics that can be used as a sustainable option for projects. DETAILS | Pieces with unusual shapes have been calculated based on their size, and there may be small imperfections and mottled colors. I have done my best to accurately represent the true shades of these fabrics, but each computer monitor will display their colors slightly differently. CARE | These materials have been washed/scrubbed, mordanted (set so the natural dyes adhere to the fibers), hand-dyed, rinsed, and ironed. Naturally dyed fabrics are best hand washed with pH-neutral detergent, line dried, ironed with a low iron, and stored away from direct sunlight. DELIVERY | I will refund any difference in shipping costs over €1.00 and am happy to combine shipping costs for multiple purchases. I ship all my items in TUV certified home compostable biofilm cellophane bags and recyclable cardboard envelopes.
