Sustainable and creative miniature versions of my art yarn fiber bundles, made from 9.1m of recycled, vintage, and reclaimed sweater yarn. These eco-friendly yarn swatches are perfect for adding pops of color to your weaving, crochet, knitting, felting, abstract embroidery, journaling, textile craft projects, or to build your sustainable materials collection. This pack includes one 9.1m mini skein in your choice of Peacock, Orchid, or Allium. SUSTAINABLE MANUFACTURING | A recycled fiber bundle incorporates sustainability into your textile craft projects by using reclaimed materials that have a lower carbon footprint than new materials. YARN | This lot includes one of the 9.1m skeins listed below. Each mini skein contains an assortment of 10 yarns of varying weights and materials. Each wire is 9.1 m long, for a total of 9.1 m. The yarns will be delivered twisted in mini-skeins in a transparent, biofilm-certified and compostable bag. •The yarns are a blend of recycled, vintage, and reclaimed sweater yarns with a variety of wool, mohair, cotton, viscose, rayon, chenille, linen, novelty yarns, angora, metallic yarns, or acrylic blends. A | PEACOCK: Blend of purple, chartreuse, turquoise, pink, and green yarns B | ORCHID: Blend of mauve, purple, orchid, teal, peach, and ivory yarns C | ALLIUM: Blend of chartreuse, purple, green, teal, and pink yarns RECLAIMED YARN | I handpick garments with interesting yarns, then wash and unravel them, wind them into balls, then skeins, and then wash them a second time. It takes some time to carefully untangle each sweater, but it's definitely worth it. There are so many wonderful yarns that can be reused, and it's a great way to craft sustainably and add unique yarns to your collection.
