At 31, the Portuguese beauty seems to be looking to the future outside the world of fashion. Sara Sampaio is venturing into business, having invested in a brand of hard seltzers, drinks based on carbonated water, with added flavors and a reduced alcohol content.

The entry into PHUNK's capital has entitled him to the position of Chief Innovation Officer (CINO) of the brand, and the “angel” is expected to help implement new strategies and develop new products. For now, the launch of the first Phunk by Sara Sampaio is in the pipeline.

“Being PHUNK's CINO is an incredible source of pride. Now I have the opportunity to use all my creativity with a brand I love. Starting with the creation of new flavors, campaigns... I'd also like to highlight the ease with which I've integrated into the team, because we share the same vision and values. I'm very happy to be part of this project,” he said.

It was while on vacation with her family in Portugal that Sara Sampaio fell in love with this drink:
“It all started when I was in Portugal on vacation with my family. I already knew Hard Seltzers in the United States and wanted to try what was available in Portugal. I found PHUNK, tried it and loved it - it ended up becoming the drink of this vacation and from there came the curiosity to know who was behind the brand,” he said, adding that ”Hard Seltzers are the trendy drink. I love wine, but I don't always want to drink wine. I don't always feel like it, especially when it's hot, I'm in the pool or on the beach - it's not practical to have a bottle of wine or beer, as beers have a lot of gluten and you swell up a lot. Hard Seltzers are the ideal drink, they're functional, refreshing, low in calories, have pleasant flavors and you just take them out of the fridge,” she explained.
