A beautiful family story….
The story began in 1936 with Pierrick's grandparents who bought a bakery which was then taken over in 1968 by Pierrick's father: Jean-François JAIN. In 1973, it became the biscuit factory “Les Galettes de Sainte Anne la Palud”.
Pierrick then took over the family business in 2002 at the age of 36. Nadine, his sister, joined the team in 2003 and Monique, Pierrick's mother, is never far away.
The biscuit factory is located in Plonevez-Porzay in the bay of Douarnenez, a beautiful tourist and historical region: between Locronan, a village of character, and Sainte Anne la Palud, famous for its chapel and its annual grand pardon at the end of August.
The place where the biscuits and cakes are made is at the back of the store: they are made one by one in the Breton tradition with a team of lovers of artisanal work. All ingredients (flour, salted butter, eggs, etc.))are carefully selected so that the magic of know-how can work... To these different biscuits was added the latest one: "Lichouzic" in 1996, registered trademark. The translation of Lichouzic means “little-good-thing” in Breton… that says it all!
Plain or with chocolate chips, caramel chips, buckwheat or even hazelnuts.
The biscuit factory has three stores: Plonevez-Porzay, Locronan and Crozon.
