Meet Maya & Louee, the founder & face of Garden State Candles. We founded GSC in 2017, way back when we were developing and making our candles out of our sunny Berlin apartment. The living room housed all of the inventory and the packing & shipping station was infringing on the kitchen. It was humble beginnings and we’re so proud of them!
Louee is our adopted pup from the Montreal SPCA and the face of the brand. As part of our mission, we donate a portion of the profits to rescue shelters with every candle purchase. Bringing light into more than just your homes. Our shop offers the works of many local partners such as jewelers, perfumers, ceramists, screen-printers, illustrators and many more. We get to meet our customers, see smiling faces, support our local creative community and offer creative workshops on a daily basis. We feel pretty lucky.
