Our mulled gin has always been an absolute favorite with visitors to our annual Christmas market. We worked on the drink for a full 2 years, incorporating the wishes of our customers into the development of this drink. The wish was a hot drink that didn't taste like the classic red mulled wine. It should be fruity, but not too sweet and still a bit spicy. To create this taste experience, we mixed the apple juice from our orchard with Sir Henry Gin. For this we have used the apple varieties from our orchards, which are up to 150 years old and which naturally contain more spiciness and tannins than the new varieties. The juniper note of Sir Henry Gin is dominant in the mulled gin. As soon as the cup is empty, you will notice the floral accent of this drink. The tannins of the apple juice play perfectly with the juniper note of the gin. This game with the flavor of the gin and the sweetness of the apple juice create the character of this drink. Our mulled gin does not contain any additional sugar, only the natural fruit sweetness of apple juice. We recommend: The best way to enjoy the mulled gin is to warm it up. It is important that the mulled gin is not heated above 80 degrees. The mulled gin with tonic (mixing ratio 1: 1) is also a real pleasure in summer.
