Handcrafted soap holder in PEFC fir wood

Our Glivee line couldn't be missing a practical soap holder to best store our solid cosmetics!    To create it, we thought of a design that was practical, functional and also beautiful to look at: you will find several slots, approximately 1cm thick, so as to allow you to "fit" the cosmetics vertically once they have worn out a little.    This has two advantages: 🧼 space saving - So as to allow you to place more cosmetics on the soap holder ⏰ time-saving - By arranging cosmetics vertically, you will help them dry more quickly The soap holder is handcrafted by a Trentino carpentry and the wood used is fully circular, we have in fact chosen PEFC certified Vaia fir wood.    It is so called because it is wood coming from the Vaia crashes, a very violent storm that hit north-eastern Italy in 2018, causing the fall of many trees and very serious economic damage for forest owners.   This wood is in fact more difficult for them to sell, due to the higher costs for its processing and the non-ordinary cuts.   The European PEFC certification then certifies that the wood comes from forests managed in a sustainable manner, respecting plants, animals, biodiversity and growth rates and requiring guarantees for workers.    We like to think, in our small way, that we are contributing to something bigger!
