The Mogiana region is one of the best known in the state of San Paolo in Brazil for its coffee production. The climatic conditions with temperatures around 20 degrees all year round are ideal for growing specialty coffees. The state of San Paolo groups together two important regions in the production of coffee: Mogiana and the State of the Center West. It was in 1817 that the first Fazenda was founded in the Paraiba valley. The port of Los Santos allows coffee to be exported internationally, but it is the land route that has made the province famous.
