Jacket Antonia

SLOW / Timelessly beautiful design LOCAL / Designed in South Tyrol & produced in Northern Italy ORGANIC / Wool from certified organic farming Next to AMALIA, ANTONIA probably describes our idea of regional and sustainable production best. The wool for the main material comes from a certified organic sheep farm in northern Germany - it is also spun and woven in Germany. With just 900 km that the wool covers before it is further processed by us in northern Italy, this jacket can claim to be an almost entirely regional product. It comes fully lined with organic cotton, side pockets and a visible button placket. Manufactured in Italy. Naturally There is hardly any other fiber that combines so many positive and natural properties as wool; It is heat-insulating, water-repellent, hardly absorbs dirt and odors, is flame-retardant and does not wrinkle. Reason enough to appreciate them as a textile fiber. It should not be forgotten that it is an animal product and this must also be respected. Low kilometers A central idea of Grenzgang is to keep the CO2 emissions of each product as low as possible. This means avoiding unnecessary kilometers and reducing transport routes. We strive to use the opportunities available to us in the immediate vicinity and thus also to promote and appreciate regional work. material We specifically pay attention to the origin of our materials. We focus on high quality, from environmentally friendly production. We focus exclusively on renewable raw materials and strive to draw from the resources of the region or the closest possible environment. We are open to innovative products with a unique character that correspond to the Grenzgang philosophy. Social Treating the environment with respect also includes appreciating the workforce in the central environment. For this reason in particular, we deliberately do not relocate our production overseas. Our partners are small family-run companies that have preserved the fine art of textile craftsmanship. Whether the nostalgic factory in the Swabian Jura, the tailor's factory near Verona or the material suppliers from Bavaria and Austria. All stand by their names when it comes to the quality of their goods.
