This is only grown in rainy regions where no additional irrigation is necessary, no genetically modified seeds are used, no artificial fertilizers and no pesticides are needed. Firmly agreed prices with the farmers help to calculate regular income, which can be invested in education and health and thus contribute to the development of the entire region. Low kilometers A central idea of Grenzgang is to keep the CO2 emissions of each product as low as possible. This means avoiding unnecessary kilometers and reducing transport routes.
