CONE STOOLS STOOLS In the midst of the creative period, and starting the gurilibis project, we practically only designed lighting, since it is a functional object in itself. But we like challenges, and another object that appeals to us aesthetically is chairs and stools, and without a doubt another intrinsically functional object. We wanted to develop a fresh, agile and light design, with simple lines that would evoke a current design. But the challenge did not end here, as we were working we wanted to make them combinable, that is, to have the comfort of a stool but with the option of combining them and getting a bench. After several tests and prototypes, the light bulb came on with Cone, the system of stools that can be combined with each other. We were testing various ways of making it, and we opted to use the three-layer fir counter, combined with linen and leather. Cone is a bench system, a stool that starts from the conical shape, hence its name, and by placing one piece of each one next to the other, we can build a bench as long as we want. The 100% linen cushion provides comfort, and the leather strip, in addition to holding the pillow, allows you to pick it up and move it individually wherever you need it.
