You just slip an absorbent into it, useful in case of a small accident, but it is put on "like for adults". -As a pull-on diaper for naptime or nighttime peeing, with a standard size 2 absorbent or a special size 2 nighttime absorbent. If you use a single-ply absorbent, you can also place it in the bassinet over the mesh, so you don't have to change the entire diaper just for peeing (this way, the mesh won't get wet).
