Bamboo Scarf 'Magic trees of Holland'

"Magic trees of Holland" Inspired by the work of Henricus Turks: 'Landscape with Trees'. This large scarf (70 x 200 cm) is made from bamboo cotton. Bamboo textile is a soft, flexible and high-quality fabric. Henricus Turks (Eindhoven, 1791) was a Dutch painter. He attended the Academy of the Saint Luke Guild in Antwerp. Among other things, Turks focused on historical representations and landscapes and worked in the style of southern Dutch romance. He was attracted to the Renaissance and neoclassicalism. In 1820 he was appointed director of the City Academy of Drawing and Painting in 's-Hertogenbosch. Textile made from bamboo is a lot more environmentally friendly than textile made from cotton. The scarf is produced in the Netherlands.
