beautiful backsplash in Italian ceramic Mediolanum brand of the former from the 1900s. The splashback has a beautiful liberty-style decoration on the edge in the colors of pure gold and burgundy the mediolanum brand is shown on the bottom. The Mediolanum brand is was used from the mid-nineteenth century to the early Twentieth century when the company closed. Mediolanum ceramics was famous for its liberty decorations.
