Handpicked and sun-dried in the mountains of Guatemala, it starts. More precisely in the Antigua region, one of the largest and most productive coffee regions on earth. Here, 78-year-old Maria Zelaya runs her picturesque coffee farm, which is over 100 years old.
Just imagine. Really. OK. No Google times! Because that's really nice. The city too. So there the coffee plant, which lingers as a crop a few centimeters in front of your eyes, is watered, cared for and caressed by the sun. Then it's off to us in a soft bed and for good money on to us in Germany. That's what we call fair and ecological production. Our idea of good enjoyment.
Appropos us. We are three Cologne residents, who somehow still lacked something on the coffee market and who made their wish flux a reality.
