FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What do I need to do before using the bath mat? For best grip, the mat should only be attached to clean, smooth, unstructured surfaces. It is best to rinse the tub once beforehand and please let the water run - it should be WET in any case. Then please press the mat to the bottom of the tub with your hands by pressing and stroking it firmly. Please check if it is really tight and then you are ready to go. Can the mat be used with a drain in the middle of the shower? Yes, the extra large holes allow the water to circulate & drain optimally - no matter where the drain is. The hooks are missing in the package or my hook is broken off - can I get a replacement? We want our customers to be completely satisfied - please contact us! We will provide a replacement! What can I do to prevent the mat from getting moldy? Our mat is basically made of a mold-resistant material and it is machine washable at 30° on the gentle cycle. However, we know only too well that under any mat that is permanently placed on the bottom of the tub, deposits will form, from which mold can also develop. We provide a solution for this and strongly recommend that after each use, please rinse the mat and hang it to dry on the hooks provided. This way you are guaranteed years of enjoyment from the mat and certainly no mold! How can I hang the bath mat to dry? Attach the self-adhesive hooks to a smooth, grease-free and dry surface, fold the mat once "corner to corner" (see pictures) and then hang it from the drain holes. If your bathtub is high enough, you can also hang it invisibly IN the bathtub. Is the mat made of PVC? What about possible harmful substances? Our mat is regularly tested on-site by a German testing institute for the full list of over 211 pollutants of concern, in accordance with Article 59(10) of the REACH Regulation. ATTENTION: Please secure the suction cups of the bottom side of the anti-slip mat, in which they are pressed to the WET bathtub floor by brushing them over a large area. The bath mat is ideal for pressing down on a clean, smooth surface and is not suitable for textured, tiled or uneven surfaces. The same goes for the hooks for hanging, they hold best on a dry, smooth surface. If possible, please do not use oils - this can cause the bath liner to slip away.
