Horizon Performance Atomic 29 Quarter Sock: Ink/Orange

A glance at the periodic table reveals 118 discovered elements, one of which is Copper: Atomic 29. More commonly found in electrical wire, roofing and plumbing than performance sportswear, it’s not hard to see why the lab-boffins have harnessed Copper to manufacture in to performance fabrics and yarns: Antimicrobial, antistatic, antioxidant, biostatic, heat regulating and fast wicking, Copper’s got the lot. A performance sock should offer comfort + durability + fit, if we now add the properties of Copper, we have, in essence, the only run, hike, bike sock you’ll ever need. The Atomic 29 uses super soft performance wicking Microlon throughout the sock and weaves in the Copper thread in the sole. The heel and toe are reinforced with hard wearing Cordura and the upper foot is protected with a mesh of hard wearing polyamide. The cuff has a special construction to offer more support at the front and a more relaxed fit on the Achilles and the flat linked toe seam and grip sections coupled with the Lycra content ensure these performance socks retain their shape wash after wash no matter what testing conditions they are put through.
