All that is required is a tea light candle (Candle not included). We recommend placing your Candle Holder onto a decorative plate or holder, to avoid it leaving marks on any much-loved furniture.  Don't worry if your candle holder looks wet -  its hygroscopic abilities will draw water vapours to it, which can sometimes make it look damp.
