The Type B hose adapter is designed to connect a 38 mm pool hose to the plunger valve or other pool equipment. The adapter converts the 32 mm connections of a pool to 38 mm connections. These hose adapters are necessary when upgrading a low-flow pump system (maximum 3,785 L/h) to a larger pump system (minimum 5,678 L/h).
