The decorative grey-blue celadon ceramic bowl is made from raw materials from the northern Thailand region, carved by hand and fired at 800° in the floral pattern "Pud Tan", the Thai word for sacred flower. The clay is glazed with wood ash combined with surface soil collected from local rice fields. The high-quality ceramic thus receives the unique color tones that are so characteristic of the celadon design.
