ilios is a family brand born from our passion for Crete, its history, its traditions and above all our friends Georgios, Litsa, Dimitri, Maria, who have been welcoming us for more than 20 years. Creating shoes in Greece is a way of paying homage to the country that saw the birth of sandals and which we consider our adopted country.
We offer a range of flat leather sandals for women. Our sandals are made from very high quality leather, produced and tanned naturally in Crete (without any chemicals).
They are made by hand, in a family workshop in Chania, where about twenty members of the family pass on their traditional knowledge and techniques from generation to generation, to create these unique sandals.
Selecting the best local craftsmen allows us to create quality, resistant and timeless sandals. By working closely with our makers, we support the local economy and help preserve the cultural heritage of Greek leather craft techniques.
