Natural yellow blue pink green raffia rug – 200 cm

Round rug, 200 cm in diameter, made of raffia, hand-woven by Natacha from the Rouge Beauté association in Madagascar. This model is a little gem as it combines strands of raffia in various colors. The braid wraps around itself, incorporating shimmering patterns and tones. Each rug is unique! Each craftswoman imagines her rug and the colors that will compose it. She does the raffia coloring herself. Once the raffia is dry, she creates a long braid, which she continues by adding strands of raffia and wrapping this braid around itself as she goes. That's why rugs are round. It takes about 3 weeks to make a 2-meter diameter carpet.
