Round green and ochre raffia rug – 160 cm

Round rug, 1.60 m in diameter, made of raffia, hand-woven. An elegant and decorative model with its heart in different patterns of natural raffia, green and yellow, and its yellow border. The craftswomen create their own dyes for the raffia and weave it in their own way, creating different patterns that bring out the colors in unexpected harmonies. They form a long braid with the raffia, which they complete as they go. The carpets thus formed measure between 60 cm and 230 cm in diameter for very varied results. These are unique pieces. It takes 4 days to manufacture a 1 m carpet, and almost 3 weeks for a 2 m diameter carpet.
