The Danish design brand, Kasia Lilja Studio, was established in 2013 by the creative mind of Katarzyna Wasilewska-Beyer, who was born and raised in Poland.
With Polish roots and a heart firmly planted in Denmark, Katarzyna has a huge penchant for launching ideas and watching them flourish.
Katarzyna's fundamental principles for good design are functionality and aesthetics, which are alwasy the main ingredients, when new products are designed or hand-picked.
"Kasia" is the Polish abbreviation for her full name "Katarzyna". Katarzyna lost both of her parents at an early age, and for their funerals, white lilies were adorned. The white lilies therefore have a very special meaning for Katarzyna, hence the name of the company "Kasia Lilja".
Katarzyna is a passionate entrepreneur, a dreamer, a creative zealot, a wife, a mother, a sister and a friend - and everything she does, she does with her heart in the right place. Intuition and humor are the core values in the operation of the company and a guide in Kasia Lilja Studio's journey.
