Yak wool scarf blue-stripe 190x75 cm - handwoven.

Beautiful loose-fitting yak wool scarf, made of at least 80% yak wool, in combination with cotton. Handmade in Nepal on small scale projects. Lovely as a warm scarf in winter, or as a warm blanket on the couch. Yak wool is soft, supple and very warm. The wool is made from the fine, warm-insulating undercoat of the yak, an Asian highland cattle. The cattle are common in the Himalayan mountains where they are kept by people from northern China, Mongolia, Tibet and Nepal. The scarves are very light in weight, which makes them very comfortable to wear. In addition, yak wool does not prick or lint. Due to their high quality, these scarves can be worn for years.   Each scarf is unique and the photos give a good indication of the colour of the scarf. Please note that there may be slight color differences due to the fact that it is a hand-woven product.
