KIKOONI - because it matters

handmade cosmetic bag “Shiki Mi”

Lovingly handcrafted and unique details! The playful and handmade cosmetic bag “Shiki Mi” is a wonderful addition to the large (toiletry) bag. Since you can fit it perfectly in a handbag, it's perfect for keeping your must-haves like hand cream, lipstick and sunscreen organized and within easy reach. The best thing: Each cosmetic bag is unique and is made with love in India. The employees print the pure cotton fabric by hand using wooden stamps. This process is called block printing. Then embroider the bag with the famous and traditional Kantha embroidery and finish the bag with the tassel details on the zipper. The handmade cosmetic bag “Shiki Mi” is thought out down to the smallest detail and stands out from the mainstream as light as a feather. Fair, resource-saving and with a creative spirit The outer material is made of pure cotton and the inner lining is made of waterproof polyester. A small production facility in Jaipur, India produces the embroidered cosmetic bags and fair working conditions. The production avoids working with large machines, thereby saving large amounts of water and electricity. The resource-saving process reflects the relaxed working atmosphere. We attach great importance to special individual pieces that were created with love and a creative spirit and continue to be created - also with our and your support. Vegan Bags No animal products are used in the manufacturing process and the cotton fabrics are printed by hand with a wooden stamp. Since the employees apply the Kantha embroidery made of cotton threads with a sewing machine and sew in the polyester inner part with a sewing machine, a purely vegan product is created. Resource-saving The production facility relies primarily on the uniquely beautiful block printing process, which has a tradition in Jaipur. The employees print the motifs and patterns on the cotton fabrics by hand using large wooden stamps using natural, azo-free dyes. The production only uses machines on a small scale, such as irons and sewing machines, so that the small company saves a lot of water and electricity compared to other large production facilities. Details: Dimensions (LxHxD): 25 cm x 12 cm x 11 cm Pure cotton upper with kantha embroidery and (block print) wood stamp print with natural / azo-free dyes spacious main compartment with 4 inner side pockets • closes with a zipper Handmade tassel embellishment • lined with water-repellent plastic or striped cotton Since the bags are made by hand, each bag is slightly different and the fabric pattern is sometimes placed differently than shown.
