A small production facility in Jaipur, India manufactures the embroidered cosmetic bags and fair working conditions. The production avoids working with large machines, which saves large amounts of water and electricity. The resource-saving process reflects the relaxed working atmosphere. Vegan Bags No animal products are used in the manufacturing process and the cotton fabrics are printed by hand with a wooden stamp. Since the employees attach the Kantha embroidery from cotton threads with the sewing machine and sew in the polyester inner part with the sewing machine, a purely vegan product is created. Resource-saving The production facility lives above all from the uniquely beautiful block print process, which has a long tradition in Jaipur. The employees print the motifs and patterns on the cotton fabrics by hand with large wooden stamps using natural, azo-free dyes. The production only uses machines on a small scale, such as irons and sewing machines, so the small company saves a lot of water and electricity compared to other large production facilities.
