As a first time mother I couldn’t believe how delicate my baby’s skin was, this is because a baby’s skin is more fragile and less resistant to bacteria and harmful substances within the environment. It was my natural motherly instinct to want to protect my baby’s skin by opting for an organic, soft and breathable fabric, free from pesticides and harsh chemicals to soothe my baby’s skin.
The organic eucalyptus fabric is made from lyocell, its production is environmentally responsible from start to finish. There are no chemicals or pesticides in the farming process and the eucalyptus trees are grown on land where crops cannot grow. The production also uses far less water than cotton and the water used is recycled. Do not be fooled by this delicately soft material, it is stronger and more resistant than other materials which means it will last longer than most baby essentials. But when it is time to part with your swaddle the fibres are certified as compostable and biodegradable, meaning they can fully revert back to nature
