Why CYCLE ROAST? There is a close connection between cycling and coffee. Not only because Italy is also considered the cradle of espresso culture and world-famous racing bikes, but also because caffeine can have a performance-enhancing effect in the right amount. Meeting in a café after a tour is simply part of the standard program of a cyclist's lifestyle. While searching for suitable green coffees for this project, we became aware of Gio from LATITUD 0. Gio imports top quality Canephora coffee from Ecuador. In our case, it is the Napo Payamino variety processed yellow honey. Yellow honey means that the coffee cherries are only partially washed, which means that the remains of the pulp remain on the coffee bean. The coffee is then dried in the sun. Our CYCLE ROAST contains 70% of this outstanding coffee from Ecuador and 30% of a natural-processed coffee from Ethiopia Guji. In terms of taste, this results in an incredible combination of popcorn, liquorice notes and ripe peaches. Due to the high Canephora content, we were able to develop a very light roast profile, which is still suitable for all types of preparation. Please prepare the coffee the way you want it.
