Peruvian Coffee – El Palomar – 500g GROUND

Peruvian Coffee – El Palomar – Ground A high-altitude terroir for an exceptional coffee Peruvian Coffee – El Palomar – Ground grows in the El Palomar region, between 1,400 and 1,900 meters above sea level. This height gives the beans a more intense flavor. Several varieties of Arabica are grown there: Typica, Bourbon, Caturra and Pache. These types are renowned for their refined aromas and good disease resistance. A committed and natural culture The coffee plants grow in the shade of trees like the Pacay. This natural protection avoids direct sunlight and helps the cherries ripen slowly. Thanks to this agroecological method, the environment remains preserved. In addition, dead leaves enrich the soil, reducing the use of fertilizers. A cooperative that focuses on quality The Organic Fruit Agricultural Cooperative (C.HAS.F.E.)Sanchirio Palomar manages the production of this coffee. It uses only natural fertilizers such as marine guano or fermented pulp. The producers harvest the cherries by hand and choose only the ripest. This rigorous selection guarantees quality coffee. Respectful and controlled processing After harvesting, the grains undergo several stages: pulping, fermentation, and washing. Then they dry in the sun on concrete slabs. The water used is treated to avoid pollution, and the recycled pulp becomes a fertilizer. This process limits the impact on nature. A balanced and delicious taste In the cup, El Palomar coffee reveals rich and balanced aromas. We discover notes of chocolate, red fruits and a floral touch. Its body is medium, its acidity mild and its finish very pleasant. This coffee will appeal to those who like subtle profiles. Certified and traceable coffee From plantation to cup, every step is closely monitored. This coffee has Naturland and IMO Control certifications. It thus respects organic standards while promoting the work of producers. A sustainable and inclusive project Finally, the cooperative pays a bonus on every kilo sold. This fund supports useful projects: infrastructure, schools and food crops. Thanks to this, it strengthens local development while offering responsible coffee.
