RIAS BAIXAS THE AMBASSADOR OF GALICIAN WINE The Denomination of Origin of the Rías Baixas Wine is distributed among 5 perfectly defined sub-zones that extend from the Portuguese border to the surroundings of Santiago de Compostela (Valle de Salnés, Condado de Tea, El Rosal, Sotomayor and Ribera del Ulla). They are lands of an Atlantic character with lush vegetation and mild temperatures, which have been able to obtain the best of Galicia thanks to the benevolent breath of the Atlantic Ocean, and the effort ancestral of its people. This denomination is the largest Galician producer, they are wines produced at low altitude, in coastal areas or near rivers.
