999 Games Metropolis Challenging card game with relatively simple rules. Your hand cards are buildings as well as currency. Each round you build 1 building (and sometimes 2 buildings) from your hand and pay the cost in other hand cards. Each building generates income in the form of cards and/or points. Slowly but surely a city is created for you. Many buildings influence each other or are a prerequisite for building other buildings. This creates interesting options and chain reactions. Whoever has scored the most points with their buildings at the end of the game is the winner. Metropolis only takes 20 minutes and is therefore ideal for in between.
