A general interest association, it fulfills an essential mission of linking, welcoming and providing individual and collective support to a particularly vulnerable audience: homeless women, whether alone or with children. The association is materialized by a place, the Local des femmes, one of the few specific day centers for women in France. A real refuge where they can come to safety, apart from the violence of the street, to rest, take care of themselves, wash themselves, share a hot meal prepared together. But beyond the social emergency and because primary needs are not enough to get out of the streets and wandering, the Women's Local is above all a place where women can find landmarks, forge social ties, be supported in their efforts, get involved in the life of the place and in collective projects to find a place and a usefulness.
