Annabelle Buxton combines play and gentleness to gradually guide your little one towards sleep. She introduces us to 9 species of animals who would all like a big hug before going to sleep. The reasons are varied: the need to be congratulated, encouraged, comforted, thanked or soothed... As the story progresses, the child is invited to participate by stroking the animals with their fingertips. Some people don't want to be hugged, thus raising the issue of consent and respect.
