Talavera

La Talavera Poblana dates back to colonial Mexico, acquiring a soul of its own in a gradual process, until it became a Mexican cultural symbol. This ceramic necklace painted with the typical Talavera design, made in the city of Puebla in Mexico. Its hallmark is a vitreous finish in ivory white as the basis of the blue decoration, made entirely by hand. Talavera, clay pottery covered with tin glaze made by hand and painted by hand.
