Cushion Cover - Hand-Felted by Women's Cooperative Grey/Cream Negative

Hand-felted cushion covers made by a women's cooperative in Kyrgyzstan. Our hand-felted cushion covers represent traditional symbols in Kyrgyz culture. The positive and negative patterning in the cushions is both a sustainable use of textiles as all the cut-outs are re-used and also symbolic of the harmony in nature by providing a balance of colour between the 2 designs. Edges are finished using a 'jeek' (the curled, coloured cord). Cushion covers sold individually. Due to being hand made, there might be some imperfections, and small marks. All are photographed without editing. Each cushion cover may differ slightly. 100% wool. We do not recommend to wash these products to avoid shrinkage. Dye colours may run. Cool wash or hand-wash only. Do not tumble dry. The price is for the cushion cover ONLY.
