Lagoped was founded in 2018 by mountain enthusiasts who met on the heights of the Alps: Christophe Cordonnier is a financial engineer turned entrepreneur, Julien Désécures is an engineer turned mountain guide, and Pierre Derieux is a strategy consultant turned animator. from third place.
From our past experiences, we are convinced that Nature is not a supermarket or an amusement park, in which we could help ourselves indefinitely. This love of time spent in Nature has led us to imagine clothes that no longer use Nature to be made. And we wanted to defend the European values of freedom through our method of manufacturing in short circuits.
Christophe spent many years working in the former USSR in the extraction of raw materials and he learned that it was necessary to find alternatives to this unsustainable mode of production. He also understood that we could not rely on charters of good conduct, labels or contracts that were impossible to enforce. Working in the European Union has become obvious: the same territory where we share the same values.
Today, we are proud to see the community grow a little more every day.
