It has a brown colour and an intense flavour, similar to hazelnut.​ Argan oil is made up of: Monounsaturated fatty acids (ac. oleic up to 50%); polyunsaturated (ac. linoleic acid 40%); saturated fatty acids (ac. palmitic 15% and stearic 12%). Vitamin E, tocopherols, flavonoids, carotenoids, sterols and triterpenes, compounds with antioxidant action.​ More information: Argan oil can be used in both food and cosmetics.
