Shared Earth Upcycled Tin Can Scooter

Shared Earth UK is a leading supplier of Fair Trade, eco-friendly, ethical and recycled/re-made products.  Shared Earth works to ensure that the artisans who make the products get a fair wage, there is no exploitation (for instance of children), women are treated equally, and the community and those most in need of work benefit from our trade. Scooter made from recycled tin cans, with moving wheels and steering, kickstand and removable lid to storage box. This type of modelling is known as Kapoaka, each piece is completely unique due to the nature of materials used.  Approximate size: 110x55x75mm  Colours will vary. THIS IS NOT A TOY. Not suitable for children due to small parts and sharp edges. These models are all hand-made from recycled tin cans by a co-operative in Madagascar that has been in operation since 1994. They provide Fair Trade employment to formerly impoverished artisans.
