The high iron oxide content is what gives red clay its colour. It is also oily and mildly absorbent, which helps to make it so effective in skin cleansing and detoxifying. We also include the spicy, aromatic essential oil vetiver for its astringent properties, and the extremely rich, sweet and fruity bergamot essential oil, which helps to balance combination and oily skin.
