Le Carré d'Artiste is the story of the meeting of Corinne and Stéphane, two creative people who worked in fields that were ultimately quite close, in the same city, for 40 years, and who we ended up crossing paths with, for their greater happiness.

Corinne, who began her professional career as a teacher after studying art history, very quickly resigned from the national education system to take fashion design courses at the ESMOD school.
She won a competition there and set up her style agency before the end of the course. A formidable colorist, she specializes in children's fashion. Very inspired by new trends from Japan, where she travels frequently, she creates the Kawaïko brand and opens a boutique in Paris which will quickly become the benchmark for "Gothic Lolitas" where she markets her own line of clothing. Then, his talent and his notoriety open the doors of animation studios and publishing houses to him, which entrust him with the graphic charters of license for derivative products.
As for Stéphane (Les Dudes), after training as a graphic designer, he put his creative talent at the service of fine French and international brands, and made a career in major Parisian agencies selling laundry detergent with monkeys and cigarettes with cowboys. He manages to make the Russians drink a famous American drink (according to the latest news, they still prefer vodka). It was then as a freelancer that he refocused his work on brand identity and communication of general interest.

As soon as we meet, our complementarity is obvious.
We both feel like we served a commercial system and put aside our artistic freedom.
If at first we continue to work on license graphic charters such as Koh Lanta, the manga Radian, or the cartoon Mini-Loup, we aspire to set up together a more ethical and responsible structure, which links knowledge -make local, craftsmen, artists.

Then we finally decide to let our artistic fiber do the talking on a square-format organic cotton veil: the fabric handkerchief. It is also an opportunity for us to bring together artisans around us: a Meilleur Ouvrier de France printer, ready-to-wear clothing workshops, and to "exhibit" fellow artists, or to give art students.
We were quickly contacted by the Labonal boutiques which put our designer handkerchiefs on sale in their boutiques in Paris, Strasbourg, Mulhouse, Dambach and Obernay, and we are exporting French know-how to the United States, in a boutique in Miami. in Florida.
At the same time, we have chosen to get away from Paris to get closer to nature. We now live more often in the countryside in the Perche, where we have created a permaculture garden and planted several hundred trees.
