THE CHINEUR CLAN
WHO ARE WE ?
LE CLAN DES CHINEURS is a family story created in Paris in 2000
by a duo passionate about vintage.
Then a pioneer of customized vintage, Le Clan des Chineurs offered a personal interpretation
“flecked-in” clothes here and there… to give them an even more beautiful second life.
These treasures of the past were recut, painted, embroidered, studded, rhinestones... while preserving their meaning.
The Chineurs Clan has never ceased its experiments and research.
He returns with a new creative generation who wishes to appropriate the know-how of the old ones and add his influences to it.
- "UPCYCLING" collection, DNA of the CLAN:
Divert the garment from their primary mission, transform it, embellish it while respecting its history.
The whole process is carried out by our embroiderers, dressmakers, in France.
- “CAPSULE” collection:
According to the seasons and our desires, we offer “capsule” collections: limited series made in France
- PURE VINTAGE:
Favorite pieces, picked up during our travels.

In this world that continues to produce trendy fashion pieces at the last minute, the idea of an upcycled or remodeled garment can be an anomaly. But it's a growing trend. Because upcycling uses parts that already exist, it often uses few resources when creating it and keeps “unwanted” items out of the waste stream.
In France, which remains one of the biggest consumers of textiles, 700,000 tons of clothing are thrown away each year. And only 160,000 tonnes of products are currently recycled.
All unsold clothing should be recycled. A circular economy would remedy this immense waste...
