We know in fact that, long before us, the beautiful Roman women liked to take scented baths in which a few branches of lavender had previously been macerated. These sprigs of lavender are cut with a sickle and hung to dry in the open air in Provence. Its taste in infusion is subtle and delicate. Pour 1 liter of boiling water over 12 to 15 sprigs of lavender and leave to infuse for at least 5 to 10 minutes. For a cup, carry out the same operation with around 6 sprigs of lavender. You can also infuse milk to make desserts or to scent laundry.
