LAVENDER BOUQUET FRANCE

Stem and flower of Super Blue Lavender* - Lavandula angustifolia *plant from organic farming A little history: The word “lavender” comes from the Latin verb lavare, which means to wash. We know in fact that, long before us, the beautiful Roman women liked to take scented baths in which a few branches of lavender had previously been macerated. These sprigs of lavender are cut with a sickle and hung to dry in the open air in Provence. Its taste in infusion is subtle and delicate. Pour 1 liter of boiling water over 12 to 15 sprigs of lavender and leave to infuse for at least 5 to 10 minutes. For a cup, carry out the same operation with around 6 sprigs of lavender. You can also infuse milk to make desserts or to scent laundry.
