This old Pineau red reveals a mahogany red color with amber reflections. The nose is rich and evolved. It opens with notes of kirsch cherries, dried fruits and nuts combining woody touches forming a varied and delicious whole. The palate is round, dense and complex. It opens with notes of prunes, cherries and dried nuts while combining a woody aspect with touches of rancio which continue with notes of bitter cocoa. The tannins are present but melted, combined with a pleasant freshness which provides a lingering and refined length on the palate.
