Pineau des Charentes Old White

Its amber caramel color reveals old gold reflections which reveal its great age.  Its open and concentrated nose opens with notes of fresh walnuts and candied apricot combined with woody touches and rancio testifying to aging in barrels.  Its tangy and straight mouth reveals notes of roasted nuts, touches of cinnamon and rancio.  The generous and powerful flavors have a pleasant persistence in the mouth.  This old pineau with a singular character reveals a spicy and candied finish.
